How can you prove you are the expert? The most dominant form of communication is metrics because they are easily understood. So much time is wasted by talking that could be saved by using dominant metrics. Metrics can often say much more in a shorter period of time than talking. Everyone should be able to understand metrics without technical expertise. Presenting technical metrics to clients who have no technical expertise defeats the purpose of the metrics. In order for metrics to be effective, they must be simple, clear and concise. Examples of metrics include:
1. Number of services performed?
2. How was your customer satisfaction?
3. Cost and time deviation rates?
4. Longevity of the Systems?
